CloseThis past Sunday, Pastor Carl shared with us a message called “Experiencing God Through Revival” Many of us have asked for a Revival in our lives, families, congregation, or city. But how many of us have tried doing something for it to happen? "Revival is not for holy people, it's for hungry people." If we want to see a revival in our lives we must pursue it. Revival begins with obedience to God. What are the primary components of most Revivals? It often begins during a time of spiritual decline and despair. The Word of God (the absolute truth) is sought-out and proclaimed. Idol worship (sin) is recognized and destroyed. Miracles, signs and wonders, salvations, and deliverances are experienced. Joy, peace and an expansion of the kingdom of God happen. 3 different types of responses to Revival Escapers Psalms 139:7 Excusers Acts 11:17 Embracers Philippians 3:12
