Is Healing For Today?
This past Sunday, Pastor Carl shared a message called “Is Healing For Today” In this message we took a second to ask ourself if healing is for today? This is something we all have struggled with, maybe on accepting the fact that we need healing or maybe feeling like we aren’t good enough to receive healing. Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever in other words his promises from the past still stand today. Jesus said "And I will take sickness away from the midst of you." Exodus 23:25b Here are a few points from this past Sunday. 3 Steps to receive your healing -Admit that you have a need -Seek Out Jesus First -Receive what Jesus says to you 3 Don'ts -Don’t feel ashamed or condemned -Don’t feel that God does not care or love you -Don’t feel that God cannot be with you and use you How can you minister to someone suffering from an illness? -Come alongside in caring compassionate love and support. -Be willing to take the time to hear their story. -Pray with and for them asking the lord for wisdom and help to navigate to a place of healing.
