The enemy is determined to steal, kill, and destroy anything that our Heavenly Father has sanctified and blessed, including the lives of believers. The devil eyes our weaknesses, uses subtlety to trick us, and perseveres in deceiving those who are called according to God’s plan and purpose. But we can take a stand by focusing on Jesus and His love. When we focus on loving God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength and by loving our neighbors as we love ourselves, we allow the devil little room to interfere when we concentrate on doing what is right.
