Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic

Care Net Pregnancy Center Prayer Service

CareNetOn Tuesday, January 19th at 7pm our local pregnancy center Care Net is sponsoring “Forever In My Heart,” a memorial service of prayer and healing for those who have suffered loss in pregnancy. It will be taking place at the New Beginnings Church in Poughkeepsie and more information for the event can be found here on the Care Net page.

Foundations I & Old Testament Survey Classes

Foundations I will cover the essential beliefs of Christianity to encourage you to develop your relationship with God, and in our Old Testament Survey, Pastor Vic will guide us through the Old Testament to help us see its connection with the New Testament and discover how it applies to our lives today. Forge Youth Ministries Launch next Wednesday

On this Saturday, January 9th and Sunday, January 10th from 12pm-4pm, Deborah Dinkens will be leading an outreach at the Stop and Shop on Rt. 9 in Hyde Park. This will raise support for our upcoming mission trip to the DR and will be a great opportunity to connect with the community, and also pray with individuals when they request prayer. Food Pantry closed today

Our food pantry will be closed today, January 1st in observance of New Years Day. It will be reopening on Friday, January 8th next week. Please also keep in mind that in the event of inclement weather, our food pantry closes whenever Hyde Park Central School district cancels school.

One Sunday service this weekend

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

candlelightYou, your family, and your friends are welcome to join us this Christmas Eve at Reach Out Church to celebrate God’s greatest gift to the world, Jesus Christ. Our annual Candlelight Service delivers the Christmas message through music, a sermon, and our traditional candle lighting ceremony. All are welcome to attend. This service begins on December 24th at 7 p.m.

Our Giving Tree is filling up!

If you would like to be involved in helping out the homeless and less fortunate this winter, Reach Out Church is accepting winter accessory donations for our Giving Tree. Our Giving Tree is set up at the back of the church sanctuary every winter and we decorate it with gloves, mittens, hats, and scarves to collect for a donation. So if you’re out shopping this Christmas season or if you find yourself with extra winter apparel, please take the extra effort to bless those who have difficulty just to stay warm throughout these colder seasons.

After Christmas, we send the clothing to an organization which distributes our donation to those living on the streets and those in need. Clothing donations can be dropped off during office hours and on the weekend before and after our services.

Thanksgiving Meal

College Student Cookie Bake

We will have a drop-off in the church foyer and you can also drop cookies off before our college and young adult group this Tuesday, December 2nd between 6pm – 7pm.

Thanksgiving Meal
