Mission Trip to the Dominican Republic
Please keep our team led by Randy Spadaro in your prayers as they are departing today and ministering in the Dominican Republic from January 15th to January 25th.
Care Net Pregnancy Center Prayer Service
On Tuesday, January 19th at 7pm our local pregnancy center Care Net is sponsoring “Forever In My Heart,” a memorial service of prayer and healing for those who have suffered loss in pregnancy. It will be taking place at the New Beginnings Church in Poughkeepsie and more information for the event can be found here on the Care Net page.
Foundations I & Old Testament Survey Classes
We are offering two different classes which are taking place on Wednesdays at 7pm starting January 20th. Foundations I will cover the essential beliefs of Christianity to encourage you to develop your relationship with God, and in our Old Testament Survey, Pastor Vic will guide us through the Old Testament to help us see its connection with the New Testament and discover how it applies to our lives today. Guest speaker: Elim Fellowship President Chris Ball
On January 31st, the president of our church fellowship Elim, Chris Ball, will be speaking at both our 8am and 10am services. We look forward to hearing what God has put on his heart for us!
Men’s Breakfast
All men are welcome to join us for fellowship and a free breakfast next month on Saturday, February 13th at 9am. Join us for a delicious meal and devotional time to reflect on God’s word. The Men’s Breakfast takes place in the annex building and a donation is appreciated for the cost of the breakfast.
Thirst: A devotional on the Book of James
We are happy to announce we have a new devotional written by our very own Nic Knapp, Gabby Knapp, and Pastor Jon Forster: Thirst! These five week devotionals are available in our bookstore and you can also order it on Amazon with this link.
We will be having a prayer night on Wednesday, January 6th at 7pm in the annex. This is to prepare for the new youth group launch which is taking place the following Wednesday. All are welcome to join us as we pray over this vitally important ministry. Light refreshments will follow.
Join Mary Ann Bovee in a six-week series focused on healthier living in God. These will take place on Thursdays at 7pm at her house starting January 7th. For more information, please see Mary Ann or call the church office.
This Sunday, January 3rd we will only have one service at 10am and no 8am service. Please join us as we come together as one family during this holiday season, and we will provide light refreshments following these services.
Thank you to all who donated to our Giving Tree! The winter accessories will be donated to a ministry that blesses those who are in need of them!
You, your family, and your friends are welcome to join us this Christmas Eve at Reach Out Church to celebrate God’s greatest gift to the world, Jesus Christ. Our annual Candlelight Service delivers the Christmas message through music, a sermon, and our traditional candle lighting ceremony. All are welcome to attend. This service begins on December 24th at 7 p.m.
If you would like to be involved in helping out the homeless and less fortunate this winter, Reach Out Church is accepting winter accessory donations for our Giving Tree. Our Giving Tree is set up at the back of the church sanctuary every winter and we decorate it with gloves, mittens, hats, and scarves to collect for a donation. So if you’re out shopping this Christmas season or if you find yourself with extra winter apparel, please take the extra effort to bless those who have difficulty just to stay warm throughout these colder seasons.

This coming Wednesday, December 16th at 7pm we will have a Christmas potluck meal in lieu of our Bible study! All are welcome to attend! If you are planning on coming, please plan on bringing a covered dish and sign up in our foyer!
On November 26th, Thanksgiving day, Bucky and Brenda Golden will be hosting a family style meal in the annex. Anyone interested in attending is welcome to participate. The preparations will begin at 11am and the meal will be at 1pm. For more info, please see either Bucky or Brenda.
This Sunday we are collecting your baked Christmas Cookies which we will send to the college students abroad from Reach Out Church. We will have a drop-off in the church foyer and you can also drop cookies off before our college and young adult group this Tuesday, December 2nd between 6pm – 7pm.

We are happy to say that between donations from our church and our relay center, we have collected 625 shoeboxes (exceeding last years total!) which will be sent to bless children around the world this year.
This Sunday, November 8th, Pastor Pablo and Ana Loaisiga will speak at both of our 8am and 10am services. They have served as the hosts of our Nicaragua mission trips and have been involved with establishing thirteen churches in Nicaragua!
