Thanks to all who participated in our cookie drive!
We were able to bless twelve of our college students away from home with a batch of cookies that they can enjoy and share with others. We love doing this to encourage them as they get ready for the home stretch of their semester, so thanks to all who contributed to this ministry!

Bless a local family this Christmas season
You can make an impact in our community by sponsoring a family to assist in providing food and gifts this Christmas season. Reach Out Church works with Hyde Park Community Cares to provide for families that cannot financially afford to bless their children this Christmas season. If you would like to be involved in this ministry, you can sign up on our list in the foyer, contact Cathy Kelly, or call the church office for more information at (845) 229-6080.
Our Giving Tree is here!
If you would like to be involved in helping out the homeless and less fortunate this winter, Reach Out Church is accepting winter accessory donations for our Giving Tree. Our Giving Tree is set up at the back of the church sanctuary every winter and we decorate it with gloves, mittens, hats, and scarves to collect for a donation. So if you’re out shopping this Christmas season or if you find yourself with extra winter apparel, please take the extra effort to bless those who have difficulty just to stay warm throughout these colder seasons.
After Christmas, we send the clothing to an organization which distributes our donation to those living on the streets and those in need. Clothing donations can be dropped off during office hours and on the weekend before and after our services.
Men’s Breakfast
All men are welcome to join us for fellowship and a free breakfast on Saturday, December 11th at 9am. Join us for a delicious meal and devotional time to reflect on God’s word. The Men’s Breakfast takes place in the annex building and a donation is appreciated for the cost of the breakfast.
A Sunday morning update from missionary Jennifer Bliss
On Sunday, December 11th we will be welcoming Jennifer Bliss, who serves as a missionary in Bosnia-Herzegovina and is supported by Reach Out Church. She will be giving a brief report of all that God is doing in and through her on the mission field!
Wednesday Night Bible Study Potluck Meal
On Wednesday, December 21st at 7pm we will have a Christmas potluck meal in lieu of our Bible study! All are welcome to attend! If you are planning on coming, please plan on bringing a covered dish and sign up in our foyer!
Prayer Night
On Wednesday, January 4th we will be having a prayer night for our FORGE Youth Ministry! All are welcome and encouraged to attend. A potluck dinner will start at 6pm in the annex and worship & prayer begins at 7pm.
Thirst: Identity devotional now available
Our new devotional written by our very own Nic & Gabby Knapp is now available in our church bookstore and on Amazon.com! This 5-week set of devotions will challenge you to ask the question: Is my identity founded in Christ alone?
Please keep in mind that if you are participating in Operation Christmas Child this year, we are having our final after-service dropoff this Sunday, November 20th.
Next Friday, November 18th at 7pm, the ladies of Reach Out Church are welcome to come together for some ice cream floats and fellowship in the church foyer! All women of all ages are welcome to attend!
On Thursday, November 24th we will be having a Thanksgiving meal together in the church annex. If you would like to help prepare the meal, please come at 11am and we will eat together at 1pm. This Saturday, November 5th from 11am-2pm we will be having an outreach ministry called Soups On! We will be providing fresh hot soup for individuals who stop by and offering prayer and the Gospel. If you would like to get involved with helping out, please sign up in the foyer and indicate what you would like to do. For more info, please contact Linda Miranda.
Our local crisis pregnancy center in Poughkeepsie is in need of a few specific items, and we will be helping collect donations in our church foyer. The items needed are: crib sheets, hooded towels, receiving blankets, diapers (size 3), tethers & pacifiers, baby bottles, sleepers for girls (0-3 months), toiletries (shampoo, wipes, lotion), baby socks, and outfits for up to 12 months. Please call our church office for more info!
All men of Reach Out Church are welcome to join us for a time of edification and fellowship at our one-day conference on Saturday, October 8th from 10am to 3pm. Hosted at Reach Out Church, this time will include two sessions with our guest speaker Tom Brazell, who is an elder and the International Director for Elim Fellowship. There will also be refreshments, lunch, soup, salad, and sandwiches served! Event cost and info can be found on 
This weekend we will welcome Tom Brazell of Elim Fellowship as our guest speaker. He has served in the ministry for more than 39 years, and in this time he has planted churches, served as a pastor, and ministered the gospel in countries abroad like Congo and Zaire. He is currently the Director of Global Ministries for Elim Fellowship, helping to challenge, motivate, and train congregations to take their place in fulfilling the Great Commission. We are looking forward to the word God has put on his heart to share with us!
Reach Out Church’s small groups that focus on different topics of study have started, and we invite everyone to prayerfully consider joining one in order to grow where Christ is calling you next! 
All are welcome to attend our water baptism service on Sunday, October 23rd during our 10am service, and we will also have a baptism class led by Pastor Tom Massey on the Thursday before, October 20th. For all who are interested in being baptized or anyone who would like to learn more about baptism, please sign up in the foyer.
