Come Love and Be Loved: a special event for the ladies of Reach Out Church

All ladies of all ages welcome to join us in the church foyer on Monday, February 13th at 7pm as we celebrate being God’s valentine! Refreshments will be provided!

Spaghetti and Meatball Benefit Dinner

All are welcome to our spaghetti and meatball dinner on Saturday, February 25th at 6pm in the annex, where all proceeds will benefit the Reach Out Food Pantry! The cost is $15 per person and our sign up is in the foyer. Payment will be collected on the night of the event.

Wednesday Night Bible Study

Pastor Vic is leading a Bible study entitled “Seeing the Forest for the Trees” on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the upper classroom. Focused on exploring the big picture of the Bible, this study will help make studying scripture less daunting and easier to understand!

This Sunday, January 8th we will have only one Sunday morning service at 10am and no 8am service. This Sunday will focus on God’s vision for the church as we enter the new year and recognize Pastor Carl as our new Senior Pastor at Reach Out Church.

New Year’s Day Service

All are welcome and encouraged to attend as we pray for the world, our nation, and all of the ministries in our local church body. A potluck dinner will start at 6pm in the annex and worship & prayer begins at 7pm.

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

candlelightYou, your family, and your friends are welcome to join us this Christmas Eve at Reach Out Church to celebrate God’s greatest gift to the world, Jesus Christ. Our annual Candlelight Service delivers the Christmas message through music, a sermon, and our traditional candle lighting ceremony. All are welcome to attend. This service begins on Saturday, December 24th at 7 p.m.

Christmas Morning Service

This Sunday on Christmas Day we will be having one morning service at 10am, and all are welcome to join us as we come together on the day we celebrate the we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Hyde Park Community Cares Update

hydeparkcommunitycaresThank you to all who contributed to our local ministry to bless families need with Christmas presents for their children! We were able to help sixteen families for a total of 36 children this year!

Food Pantry closed until 1/6/17

With the upcoming Christmas and New Year holidays, our food pantry will be closed on both December 23rd and December 30th. We will return to our regular food pantry schedule starting on Friday, January 6th from 2pm-5pm. May God bless you this holiday season!

Christmas Eve Candlelight Service

Our Giving Tree is here!

givingtreethumbnailIf you would like to be involved in helping out the homeless and less fortunate this winter, Reach Out Church is accepting winter accessory donations for our Giving Tree. Our Giving Tree is set up at the back of the church sanctuary every winter and we decorate it with gloves, mittens, hats, and scarves to collect for a donation. So if you’re out shopping this Christmas season or if you find yourself with extra winter apparel, please take the extra effort to bless those who have difficulty just to stay warm throughout these colder seasons.

After Christmas, we send the clothing to an organization which distributes our donation to those living on the streets and those in need. Clothing donations can be dropped off during office hours and on the weekend before and after our services.

Sunday morning update from missionary Jennifer Bliss this weekend

jblissThis Sunday, December 11th we will be welcoming Jennifer Bliss, who serves as a missionary in Bosnia-Herzegovina and is supported by Reach Out Church. She will be giving a brief report of all that God is doing in and through her on the mission field!

Reach Out Church works with Hyde Park Community Cares to provide for families that cannot financially afford to bless their children this Christmas season. If you would like to be involved in this ministry, you can sign up on our list in the foyer, contact Cathy Kelly, or call the church office for more information at (845) 229-6080.
