Hyde Park Fishing Derby

Every May, Reach Out Church hosts the Hyde Park Fishing Derby for children 12 and under. Kids can fish and compete for prizes on our beautiful property. We love blessing the Hyde Park community with this annual event, offering a fun, relaxing time for families and neighbors. Free hot dogs, pastries, and other refreshments are provided!
Prizes & Food
Prizes will be drawn and handed out at random every hour, giving everyone a chance to win something exciting! Enjoy free food and drinks available all morning long, including a variety of tasty snacks and refreshing beverages. Make sure to stay until the end of the event to find out who caught the biggest or smallest fish, adding to the excitement and fun of the day. Don’t miss out on the festivities and the opportunity to create wonderful memories with your family and friends!
Please note that this event will take place rain or shine, so be prepared for any weather.
Cost & Supplies
Feel free to bring your own fishing poles, but if you don’t have one, you can easily check out a fishing pole for the duration of the derby. We aim to make sure everyone has the opportunity to participate and enjoy the event!
- $4 per child for early registration
- $6 per child on the day of the event
