This first issue should give a good idea of the types of submissions accepted for John 17:17. If you think you would like to submit something but are unsure of what type of submission you would like to work on, the following is a list of categories (non-exclusive) to give you a head start:

• Poetry (30 lines or less)
• Short story (1,000 words or less)
• Illustrations
• Instructional Article (1,500 words or less)
• Word of Encouragement (500 words or less)
• Testimony (500 words or less)

If you have something to write that doesn’t seem to fit in any of the above categories (perhaps God has made a certain scripture alive to you and you would like to share), please feel free to submit what you have.  If you are having difficulty meeting word limits (a testimony of over 500 words or poetry more than 30 lines long) please feel free to submit it anyway. It may be that a 1,000 word testimony would fit well with the particular issue. It may also be that I could help you focus your submission so that it more closely approaches the limit.
